The Avata 2’s intelligent flight battery delivers up to ~23 minutes of flight time per charge, balancing endurance with agile FPV performance. Charging is flexible — with a dedicated charging hub you can go from 0–100% in about 45 minutes, or charge directly in the aircraft in around 88 minutes. The hub also intelligently prioritizes and cycles battery charging for faster turnaround between flights.

The Avata 2 features DJI’s cutting‑edge O4 HD video transmission system, delivering crisp, low‑latency live video up to 1080p/100 fps to compatible goggles or controllers. With a robust multi‑antenna configuration and optimized frequency performance, it can theoretically maintain a stable connection up to ~13 km in open, interference‑free environments, giving pilots confidence for long FPV flights and immersive real‑time feedback.

03 Obstacle avoidance

Fly with some armor.

While the Avata 2 isn’t equipped with full 360° active avoidance like some traditional camera drones, it includes downward and backward visual positioning sensors that help enhance stability and positioning when flying at low altitude or indoors. These sensors improve hover precision and can assist in detecting nearby surfaces behind or beneath the aircraft, making tight‑space flights feel more controlled.
